[DML] Old gas in Tank

The gas has been in the tank almost a year. I have venturi off to clean it 
out. Can I break the line before the filter and pump the gas out and fill up 
some more and pump again? Can the fuel dis (I know not to take it apart) be 
flushed? Like carb cleaner.
