Hey everyone. A few months back I purchased my first DeLorean. Everything works great except for the Tach. When I put the key in, the tach will fall to 0, I start the car and the tach stays still. If I rev the engine, nothing happens. The needle stays stationary. When I turn the car off, it'll jump to 2000 or so (common from what I've seen). The only time the tach wakes up is when I'm at around 3000 rpm (I'm guessing here) and the tach will run to the redline. When I shift, the tach goes back to 0 until I get back to around 3000 rpm or so. Any thoughts? Time for a new tach?
