I recently purchased a '81 Delorean S/N 000996. After paying for it I was informed the seller found water in the crankcase. He assured me he would make everything "right" before delivering the car to me. I've been in the long distance trucking business for a long time and water in the base usually means trouble. This car has been parked for over 15 years and required a new fuel pump to get it started and it still runs rough. Has anyone out there had experience with this problem? Where should I begin to look?
