[DML] What new tires should I buy?

I am interested in getting new tires for the car.  I have two 
different types right now.  The rears are Michelin "Tiger Paw" and the 
fronts are Bridgestone I believe (don't know the model off hand).  I 
have no idea how old they are when I bought the car a couple of months 
ago.  I suspect the rears are newer than the fronts.  Treads look OK 
on both, but the front tires don't seem that pliable (stiff and 
plastic-like)and spin/squeal on pavement very easily.

I am interested in getting new tires all around, and wanted to now 
what the preferred brand/model is for Deloreans.  I am also 
considering white lettered tires as well, for a more sporty look.  
What are members' take on these issues.  I live in MA, and would like 
to get tires locally.
