I had something similar happen to my Crown Vic. It turned out the power wire
going to the fuel pump was worn through by the spare tire. It was barely
touching and would cut off all fuel. It took 3 garages before "someone"
figured it out - fixed with .10 cents of black tape.
I am sure others will chime in but check your electrical connections
starting with the battery and fuses. Maybe someone has a more systematic
approach?
