I now know why I'm having problems shifting-not only is my clutch master cylinder slowly leaking; my manual transmission is leaking BADLY at the input shaft-spraying fluid all over the clutch disc (yup, now its slipping). So I inevitably need to remove the transmission not only to fix the leak, but now for a new clutch as well-and while I'm at it I'll also put in that damn lip seal 103049 that's also been leaking for some time. Can anyone tell me which part(s) would cause the transmission to leak at the input shaft (basically, I need help determining what I need to replace), what could cause this leak in the first place? I am pretty sure I'll need to open up the case to fix this so can anyone recommend other parts to replace inside while I'm at it? All help is greatly appreciated! -----Dani B. #5003 To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
