Perhaps, but unlikely. The only way this would indicate anything is if the
cable were either disconnected from the odometer above the lambda counter or
if the car had rolled over on the odometer to over 100K miles. The most
likely cause in my opinion is the angle drive broke and it was never repaired. I
think odometer turn-backs are very rare in the DeLorean world.
