Gotta agree with you there. My DeLorean has 121,000 miles on it and
she fires up almost instantly upon turning the key. This 24 year old
relic starts up easier than my 3 year old Chrysler Sebring. The PRV
is a rugged, dependable engine. Other ones that come to mind are the
Dodge Slant-6 (almost indestructible) and the Nissan 2.4 inline-four
used in their pickup trucks. (Mine had over 300,000 kilometres on it
and still didn't burn a drop of oil.)
We all tend to gripe about the PRV-6's lack of power, but JZD could
have chosen worse.
