Hervey's looks the same as the one I got from DMCH, I haven't looked at Rob's. The way the dam is shaped I think the fans will be able to suck just like normal-- the plate isn't that close to the grill, and at highway speeds there is more than enough air flowing that the fans don't do anything. However... I still mounted mine to one side instead of the middle! ;-) I even thought about trimming one of the three mounting slots out but decided it really wasn't necessary, it moves enough air with the stock fans.
