I have a pair of Rob's struts and they work great. My passenger side torsion bar was torqued too tight by the PO, and I had to let it down a notch the other day because the door rose so hard and fast that it rocked the car. The problem is not Rob's struts, its that your torsion bars need adjusting. You can't expect them to not need a little tweaking after 20+ years. Sure you can put a super strong strut on to correct the droopy door problem you are having, and bend the strut mounts at the same time. Then you have serious problems. Put on a fresh Grady strut, then do a torsion bar adjustment. -Patrick C. 1880 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
