Make sure the negative (-), ground wire, from the battery to the frame is actually making good contact. Clean the terminals at the battery and all of the "big" connections. Get a voltmeter out (or a test light) and see why you have no power. This will take a little knowledge of automobile wiring. Clean the ground strap from the motor to the frame too. In fact you should probably clean ALL of the ground connections in Puerto Rico. Hot, humid, salty conditions are perfect for corrosion.
