Interesting - you must have been lucky or have a better-stocked PepBoys
than I have around here.
I stopped by the local PB today - the Sachs (Stabilus) catalog (not
the PB in-store computer) listed the struts for the doors and the
trunklid but not the shade. They were not in stock. The man behind
the counter (had never heard of DeLorean!) looked them up and the
door struts are $44 each and the trunk lid is $45 a pair. Not much of
a deal compared to the vendors. Also - he indicated tht they
are "special outside order" which I took to mean that they would
special order them and "someday" thay might show up. I usually figure
on 3-4 days from any of the DMC vendors.
