I installed a set of air horns from a chain auto store for about $25
-$30 and have enjoyed the result.
I used the existing horn bracket mount and put the little compressor in
the area in front of the trunk compartment where the tire tools are
intended to be stored (on the driver's side). I had to drill a hole
(about 1/4") for the airline an a very small hole for the wires. Now
the electrical connector is not exposed to the elements.
You could get a bigger horn if you want to be sure that people look in
their rear view mirror looking for a chrome bumper rather than a
stainless car. :-)
