I should have checked the DML archives (like I am supposed to) before
posting. There have been a few similar issues. It sounds like this
work can be done without removing the windshield. I can cut out the
old post and remove any vinyl that is sandwiched between the glass and
frame.
I have already purchased replacement posts from DMCH along with metal
clips which I am not sure what to do with. What I need to know now is
how to install the new posts and what the clips are used for.
Please show patience for a new and very enthusiastic owner. Again,
any help in this direction would be appreciated.
