Having a Concours winner and a custom (Yellow) DeLorean has given me
an interesting perspective on this.
I have been given seriously higher offers for my custom D than I
probably would ever get for my Concours D. But yet I still think
that the Concours cars "help" set the pricing for the marque. I know
of Concours cars that have been "upgraded" and still sold for a
premium price because of their Concours status.
That said, I still cant imagine paying 60K + for a refurb west coast
car, but they do sell them.
