There are a lot of personal tastes on this I'm sure, but over the 
years the best soap I have found for the D or any car for that 
matter is P21S. It is a German product and is by far the best for 
cleaning and leaving a really nice bright shine. The P21S wheel 
cleaner is the best wheel cleaner too. The stuff is a little pricy 
but well worth it.
