The same thing happened to me, except that fuse melted the entire
holder and made me think my car was on fire when I was driving that
day. Putting a 25A fuse back in is WAY WAY overkill. I spliced in a
blade fuse holder and have been running a 5A fuse for over 6 months
with no problems whatsoever. This is the route that I would go.
