This is where I'm confused. I thought the gold D's only had saddle 
brown interior. The one in Texas has black. I suppose the owner 
could have requested the color.

You missed the one in Nevada -- Harrah's Casino Car Museum. The on 
in Texas and Nevada are the 2 real ones. The Maryland one from what 
I remember is put together after the fact from leftover parts.
