Remove the A/C panel first, then the shift boot panel. The clock and
rheostat must be unplugged but need not be removed from the shift
panel itself.
To remove the A/C panel:
-Pull knobs straight off mode switch, temperature control, and fan switch
-Remove the long screw normally hidden behind mode switch knob
-Do NOT worry about headlight and hazard switches
-A/C panel will lift easily away from the console
