I didn't see your original post but Bruce Benson already wrote up a good 
article in Gullwing Magazine relating to cooling system flushing. 

I would probably go somewhere i trust and have them use a commercial flush 
machine because it is a lot more reliable, you will be sure to get a good mix of 
50/50, and there is little mess to worry about. hopefully you are friendly 
enough with a shop where they will let you on the floor and help them too.
