Fuel lines generally do not "clog". Even with a completely bad accumulator it won't keep the engine from starting when cold. I suspect he is not familiar with Bosch K Jetronic. You should probably find a more knowledgable mechanic if you can in your area. We on this list can help if you want to try to fix it yourself.
