It is marked. One side is #1 one side is #15. You simply put the key in the ignition and put in the on position, then measure voltage with black lead on ground and positive on #15 on coil. Mine is 7 VDC, my mechanic friend says it should be 12 VDC (or battery voltage to be precise). This would help me in my next troubleshooting step.
