Single action hazard switch is more simply engineered than double
action headlight switch. Should be longer lived. Plus is half purchase
price. That's why I used when rewiring exterior light circuit (button
graphics are interchangeable). Recommend same. Note that after
conversion, I have adjacent hazard switch to fall back on in case of
failure (keep a jumper in car for terminals 1 & 10 on hazard harness
-- turn signals).
#5939's photo album has pic of what can happen when factory headlight
switch fails. Almost lost the car from that one.
