You can always go a little larger with the 300 horse 32V Northstar V8. It has 
a bit more pickup than the stock V6, and I believe all you have to modify is 
the engine mounts and connection to the driveshaft. I don't quite remember 
the company that does this, but I remember picking the information about it 
up on a DeLorean with this done to it (in Memphis; DeLorean Car Show). It 
looked amazing.
