I can understand the logic behind calling a fire damanged DeLorean or 
compleatly wrecked (ie rollover or headon with a semi) being used as a parts 
car, But to part out a car just because it has been sitting for a few years? 


The DeLorean that we all saw on e-bay can be turned into a driver. Sure, it 
needs fuel system work and a set of 4 tires, BIG DEAL! After spending a few 
thousand on fuel system parts, a couple hundred on tires, and at least 
another hundred in armor-all, and stainless steel cleaner this could be a 
nice car that someone would enjoy. 

Now yes there are some cars that would be uneconomical to save from the 
grave, and by all means the parts from those cars should be used to keep 
other DeLorean's on the road.
