Never mind on the previous post. Upon closer examination of the post 
I bought it seems the portion where the post meets the dash has been 
deformed. Looks like the plastic melted or was in extream heat to 
form a smooth radius that is not supposed to be there. It actually 
looks like it is part of the design. Thanks anyway. Ed
