Oh dear Payne, is it time to trade the little silver car for a new Subaru? If your wiring harness is stock, you should have *THREE* black wires going to the idle speed motor, each with a different stripe. The middle one (Black/Pink) is 12v in. Black/Green and Black/Red are your polarized lines back to the onboard computer. The circuit is grounded inside the computer, so there's no need for any other wires (to overcome twitchy ground, etc). If it helps, my car is currently idling off its bypass screws -- idle speed lines are capped until I can bend some conduit to reach my relocated motor. Since A/C season is over, reasonable RPM's are easily set manually.
