Well, I've read the praises of Ken and the other comments regarding the wonderful show there in Memphis, and I've decided thanks to your comments that I will be in Pigeon Forge in 2004 no matter what. :) Hence, I will reserve a room (no I haven't done it yet) and if anybody wants to split it with me, let me know -- e-mail me off the list. (Single women may also apply...)

And Martin: I'm afraid you've experienced the alcohol restrictions of The Bible Belt, USA. The Powers That Be there have decided that a.) no one can purchase alcohol on Sunday; and b.) Sunday lasts from 12am Saturday night to 8am Monday morning. So if like me you plan to drink late, keep the fridge full. :) (I used to live in Charlotte, where you experienced that layover, also part of said Strange Alcohol Regulation Zone.)
