Walt: It seems I read somewhere on this list that modern actuators are up to 50% less weighty than the solenoids, but then my memory isn't very reliable these days for exact figures. Can anybody else corroborate this? (Bob B., were you the one who told me that? I haven't dug through my DML folder today.) If it's true, then you may be able to solve the heavy door problem with just a couple of replacements for the heavy solenoids, and you would upgrade your lock situation in the process.
