HI,
I installed a trans gov this summer. Luckily there was one on ebay for 
$300 at the time. But I did talk to someone at PJ Grady and the company who 
originally made the govenor is still producing them so they havent been 
sitting around for 20 years. They are not really "Improved" but Grady said 
they seem to work better than the originals. I would say Grady is your best 
bet as they are not NOS parts.
