Re: [DML] front brake rotor replacement



The wheel bearings are sealed and aren't the tapered timken type that many
rear wheel cars use up front. I've heated my brakes to the point they
wouldn't stop the car while hurrying around the track at Road America and
have yet had to experiance any warping problems. I suspect there may have
been a quality control problem regarding the metallurgical properties of the
brake rotors. I remember when my car was new that several owners experienced
warped rotors with-in a few thouand miles while others are still running
around today with good originals.
