Don't waste your time with the long screwdriver. I even heard of some guy drilling a hole in his door panel to get a screwdriver in there. Instead of removing the phillips screws holding the door handle on behind the trim panel -- instead remove the two 10mm bolts (or large phillips screws depending on your car) which are accessed over the top of the lower trim panel. These hold the bracket that holds the door handle. Once removed, the lower trim panel comes off with the bracket and handle still attached to the panel. You may have to flex the door latch rods to one side to get a clear shot at these fasteners. Walt Tampa, FL
