You obviously do too much thinking. (smile) Save yourself all the
re-engineering and buy an 'aftermarket' dash plate with a DIN hole already
cut in it to fit your new radio. If and when you want to convert your car
back to original, just change out the DIN bracket for the original two-post
OEM bracket. The source for the DIN bracket is Mid-State Delorean's site at
