Group, Joe is correct that a battery would take a tremendous amount of jarring to cause the battery to hop around, But times over the tracks, pot holes, curbs and continued (vibration) from an unsecure battery will cause the battery to go bad faster. If you don't believe me, then tell me how many of you have had a battery go bad from a dead cell and you were stranded and the battery was in the car less than two years. Any body that works on cars will tell you, if there not trying to sell batteries to strap/bolt it down. When I was in the electronics business, I called on Globe Union in Garland,Tx. and they told me what I'm telling you. The information isn't unfounded. It's from experience. Just trying to help some of us,to not add another thing to the list of the De Lorean's stranding you/me.
