I owned a Vega since new and had more than 110K miles on it prior to selling 
it in good condition. One of the secret of keeping any car running for a 
long time is maintenance. I religiously change oil and filter in the Vega 
every 2000 miles and it had been a reliable car. The only problem I had was 
body rust but that was common for cars in those days. I have no complain at 
all for the Vega or the D and thanks Mr. DeLorean.
