Week 4, problem 4. Today when driving to work I noticed my speedometer had stopped working. Dang. However, when I was making a run between buildings, I glanced down and it was working! I then came to a stop at a light, and when I started moving again, it was dead again. So when I left the building I went to, I noticed the speedo needle drop a tad when reversing. When I moved forward, the speedometer worked fine. So when I came to the first stop, I watched it, and when I started moving again, it was dead again. I dont know anything about the angle drive, but this doesn't seem like anything is permanently broke, yet. My theory is that something tighens up when reversing, and has just enough strength left for one forward motion. If any of you guys know the angle drive well, could you shed some light on this? I would prefer not to folk out another $200 this winter, so if I could repair it, that would definately be my best option. Thanks. Jim Reeve #6960
