Hazard Lights

Now, we all know that I am not a DeLorean expert, and this question might 
seem stupid. I was in my DeLorean, checking everything, and I noticed that my 
hazard lights toggle/button does not "stick," so it can't stay on. I thought 
that something must be wrong because many other cars have it so when you push 
it, it stays on. But then again, the DeLorean is not like other cars.
