[DML] DOA vs DML

Darryl- Obviously you are not worried about any negative effects on your
business for being so frank on your opinions about the DOA. Maybe they
are not as powerful as we think?

I would assume that in the past, Any business person trying to make
money on DeLoreans would have had to Kiss A** with the DOA in order to
advertise in DeLorean World, and participate in the DOA events. Isn't
it great that there is no need to do that?

To stay on the topic of DeLorean value, most (if not all) of us agree
that the best way to generate interest (demand) in our cars is to drive
and show them to the public! Thanks to the internet (specifically the
DML) participation of DeLorean owners in both regular car shows and
specific DeLorean events has INCREASED. In 1995 I sat by myself at the
Old Bridge Raceway Park car show, last year there were 5 of us if I
remember correctly. I really hope the DOA does not think they are
responsible for this. (BTW, next show is April 16)

Again, I point out to the lurking DOA board members, why not take this
thread as constructive criticism and fix the club. Make it serve the
owners! The DML probably has over 1000 members now... That's a huge
number of potential DOA members...
