[DML] egroups archives (Was: DOA)

Sad to say, the egroups search engine sucks.. It's slow, and there is
no documented query language. The result lists are short, and you can
only sort each display- not the entire query results.

The search engine for the old archives is much better (www.dmcnews.com),
but I found this out AFTER I deleted my own DML archives... 

I wonder if egroups would allow the entire archive to be downloaded
somehow.. Maybe a better search engine can be used.
