I agree with everything you've said, but the original designers intended this car to weigh 1000 pounds less. I'm sure they also inteded it to be able to do a u-turn. I don't think I've ever driven a car with a worse turning radius than the Delorean. It's attrocious... Even my Jeep, which can barely turn it's tires since they're 44"x19.5" Boggerrs can turn tighter than the D.... Anyway, what I meant to say is that over the Delorean handles so poorly that this doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference.
