Hey there Mark, I am also from Manchester but thousands of miles away in the UK. The British Delorean's here both left and right handers must also have a bracket for the license plate. Although the sizes vary here the US bracket is fitted to the front of an Arizona car that was imported here 11 years ago and never registered (titled). I am sure that DMC Houston will sell these brackets.
