Hello, I think I have chased my "almost start" problem down to the filter. how exactly does it come off? I have the braket removed. Do you just unscrew the canister from where the metal line comes in and then remove the top hose? the connector is looking a little rusty:(. what is a good replacement for it? I want to buy it from a local parts store if possible.. any part numbers or brands? If this doesnt do the trick what do you think it could be. it will start with starting fluid but then shuts off right after that is burnt up. It will almost start with none but cant keep going. like im not getting enough fuel. And YES, it has a FULL tank of 93 octane I put in last week. It started for the first time in a year 2 weeks ago and ran fine but kept getting harder and harder to start until it finally just wont. its got a full battery too. Thank you. david #2496
