[DML] Doors

Hello list,

Became the owner of #6322 in fall of `99 and have been following the
list ever since. Its amazing what I have learned about our D and the
things that we have taken care of by just monitering the list. 

I have always wondered about how the doors should open. Should they go
up on their own or do they need some assistance? How was the door
opening experience intended to be? I see that the rear louvre comes up
on its own after just a bit of assistance. Should the doors be that
way also? Whats considered normal?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.
