I was wondering if someone knows why there are two different versions of the Delorean taillights? I know in most cases, U.S. automotive safety standards are higher than European standards. Does this mean that the European lights are the "originals" and the American versions were upgraded to meet U.S. standards? Judging from the looks of the different lights, this doesn't seem to be the case. The American lights definitely appear more refined and more likely to be the "original" design. Just wondering if someone could "shed some light" on this subject. Thanks, Steve
