[DML] Overheating?

Hello,
My car has been sitting for a long time. It runs very well but seems to 
heat up very fast. I havent had it on the road yet since its not insured. 
shouldnt the cooling fans come on when it gets hot sitting in idle? I shut 
it off when it gets up near the red. I should probably flush out the cooling 
system too.

It starts fine when its cold but if I run it for 5 mins and then try to 
restart it, it won't. I spray a little starting fluid in the intake and it 
starts but then stops after that is burned up(1-3 sec). would that be a 
fuel accumulator problem? If so, are they hard to install?
