[DML] Cats and stuff

Everyone knows that in the late 70's when catalytic converters first became 
manditory it choked performance to death. But nowadays with new technology we 
are finally seeing "sports cars" with performance AND emissions. How about 
finding a new exhaust system with new technology. Less restrictive but still 
functional. High Flow exhaust systems that still comply with emissions 
standards. 
How about removing the cats, hollowing them out, and putting them back on? 
This, of course, would be for people who live in states without emissions 
testing. 
Instead of looking for ways to take-away the cats. How about a compromise. 
Maybe looking toward new technology, or a little sneaky behavior(cat 
hollowing), to solve the problem?
