[DML] wheel sandblast

Has anybody ever sandblasted their wheels and just put a clear coat on
them for shine and to prevent rust? Would this be possible and would
this look good? If anybody has any pictures of this or knows of a
place where I can see this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks
