[DML] Re: Electric Turbo

Quit awhile ago, I brought up the subject of electric powered turbo chargers.  Check out www.turbodyne.com , they claim that the turbo draws approximately 25% of the current that a starter would.  The turbo is only needed for a few seconds at a time, so this may be a viable device.  I do not have any intentions of installing one of these device on my car, I prefer to maintain the stock look.  That does not mean that I would not consider internal mods to increase the HP.

Subject: [DML] Electric Turbo

Hi List,
I remember a while back there wastalk about an electric turbo charger from a company called turbodyne.
One subject was the amp draw from your electrical system when the intermittent turbo is switched on.
Has anyone pursued this company any further with more questions.
I tried e-mailing them twice but have recieved no response.
