[DML] Re: A/C panel light wire

Shortly after purchasing my DMC from the dealer, I took it in for routine "warranty" repair & requested they move the climate control lights' power wire from the ignition switch to the rheostat. They did not tell me how they did it, but those lights are now controled with the headligh switch. I noted right off that the original dexign was a tad flawed. Drive Stainless Robert VIN 6924

List,

If there are any members of the list that haven't made the modification
to their A/C panel lights (they will be on all the time if the
modification has not been done) I can send you the correct size wire
with connectors along with a detailed instruction sheet for $2.50. This
should cover my time, materials and shipping.

For those that are wary of home-made items, I made this modification on
my first DeLorean 8 years ago and it was given the ok by Don at DeLorean
Motor Center. I also made this change on my current car and it was
checked out by Rob's guys this past summer when I was there for
service. Installing this will make your center lights only come on when
you turn on your headlights (or running lights) The center plastic piece
can warp due to the lights being on all this time.

If you are interested let me know by private e-mail.
