[DML] Tachometer

Readers,
We started up our car the other day and I noticed
that the tachometer is stuck at 20. It does not move
at all. I looked under the dash before because I
needed to install the new binnacle we bought and I
seen some wires hanging not connected to anything. If
a wire was disconnected from it would it hang at 20 or
would it be a 0, and if not I should replace it right?

I would like to know if anyone knows good places
to buy DMC-12 Manuals for cheap (Less then the $151
price tag for all of them)

Last is why is the car model DMC-12? Where is 
DMC-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10?
